 Why me?

No coach can support the coachee's evolution to a place much further than where they themselves have arrived. It is my position that this place is conquered within, rather than claimed externally.

I strongly believe that any true, radical, and lasting transformation is possible only when the stopping factor is approached "inside-out". And I am no exception. Here is my story and all the information you need to decide whether we could be a good fit for each other - my approach, professional background, academic background, and personal information.

 My Approach

  • I don’t improve my clients' lives, I transform them. Often radically.

  • I relish creating an environment where people get more out of themselves, where they become more of who they really are. I’m the whetstone that sharpens them so they can slice through anything.

  • My approach is largely based on fundamental principles of human consciousness and conscience, where Character Development is far more important than Personality development. I call it Persona Architecture, when one actually becomes rather than seems to be. What this ultimately gives is FREEDOM - to be, think, feel, do, achieve, possess, - anything and everything. Strong Character builds trust and influence, which are key to long-term social success and inner sense of happiness.

  • I don't believe in quick-fix solutions and social band-aids. I give my clients substance: the fully customised generative process to solve chronic underlying problems and focus on the principles that bring long-term results. Those that no one can ever take away from them.

  • Every client is different and has different needs and to accomodate this I have an extensive range of methodologies behind my belt, including, but not limited to:

    •  Strength-based coaching (Clifton);

    • NeuroScience coaching (Erickson);

    • Generative coaching (Gilligan);

    • GROW model (Whitmore, Fine and Alexander);

    • STEPPA model (McLeod);

    • OSKAR model (Jackson and McGregor);

    • CLEAR model (Hawkins);

    • Action-centred Leadership (ACL) (Adair).

My Coaching style and Approach is described in detail HERE

  • I'm a coach, not a therapist. I challenge my clients, not comfort them. I question everything, even the obvious. I strongly believe in the "alternate view" theory, where the way we see the problem IS the problem - we can not objectively judge ourselves and need help from the outside to evolve.

  • Coaching is an investment, and behind any such decision must be one's true DESIRE TO GROW & CHANGE for the better. That's practically the only thing your coach can't help you with. Everything else is totally achievable and is a matter of practice, method, and discipline. I sincerely believe in coaching. Over the years, I’ve seen the profound effect it has had on my clients, other coaches’ clients, as well as experiencing it myself.

  • Coaching is no longer a luxury, but is rather a necessity in today's highly competitive and fast-paced world.

Professional Background

  • I landed my first part-time job at the age of 14, when I realised, I wanted to have more than the pocket money my parents were giving me at the time.

  •

  • At the age of 23 I became the youngest member of the Board in the history of one of the largest distillery manufacturers in Russia. In such a “tender” age I was leading a team of 26 professionals to create the entire vodka division from scratch and introduce the pioneering 8 new products into the market (which over the years expanded to over 50 current products on the markets of Russia and former CIS).

  •

  • I have spent 15 happy years as a CMO of one of the largest miners and exporters of lithium hydroxide in the world (if you own a smart phone and/or drive a hybrid or electric car – chances are this lithium was supplied by us).

  •

  • I started coaching individual members of my team who showed best potential back in 2009, soon after I had my first child and came back to work renewed and with the whole new vision and urge to help other people develop. Years later I grew to become the go-to mentor and coach for the entire Executive board and provided regular professional training on soft skills development for teams throughout my company.

  •

  • I started my private coaching practice and founded the Code of Life and Business®️ back in 2021, when I permanently relocated back in the UK to live my best life outside of the corporate setting. This was my personal choice and something I was working towards for many years.

  •

  • Between 2011 and 2017 I volunteered as an English-speaking Teaching assistant in one of the Montessori centres in Moscow, designed for kids at the age of 3-6 with learning disabilities. I started soon after I lost my mother-in-law to leukaemia, being 9 months pregnant with my second daughter, and happened to interact with a lot of AMAZING kids in the blood transplant and treatment wards. I always believed (and still do), that anyone can make a difference, however big or small, if only they try. I personally did what I could. I stand strong for equality of all kinds, especially when it comes to fair access to education and work.

  •

  • Throughout my career I have coached over 250 people, written, and co-authored over 100 published articles, spoke at over 50 professional and community events, was invited as a guest speaker to various companies, universities, schools, and even 3 preschools ❤️

  • Personal

  • I’m 42 and I’m a mum of 2.

  • Katie Kaspari is my pen name.

  • I’m a failed piano player and swimmer.

  • I’m very much a dog person rather than a cat person.

  • I’m not always happy and I will forever be a work in progress.

  • In everything I do, I aim for perfection and occasionally settle for excellence.

  • I fluently speak 3 languages and consult clients in either English, Russian, or French.

  • My dreams were always big, and I never let anyone keep me "down to earth". This got me to where I am today, but now my extreme confidence is sometimes mistaken for arrogance. It's not - it's success.

  • I survived narcissistic abuse and the ugliest divorce after 16 years of marriage and 2 kids. It broke my heart, but not my spirit. It actually made me much stronger and much wiser.

  • At the age of 21, I was poisoned by my best friend and spent 78 hours in a coma. My other friends rushed me to the nearest hospital outside of Moscow, which happened to be for children. They did not have an adult intubation kit and I could not breath on my own. There was this doctor, who I later found was a highly respected toxicologist from a completely different hospital, and just luckily was there that day to teach a class of students. This complete stranger fought for my life, performing artificial respiration for 40 (!) minutes, until the ambulance with the required equipment finally arrived and took me to an adult hospital. This literally changed my life. To the better. I realised 6 important things:

    • Our perception of people is very different to who they really are.

    • I want to do something in life, where I can follow my true passion, because only then I can give it my all and become best of the best.

    • Life is very short and we must praise each day we get to explore it.

    • Our bodies and our health are the things we can't afford to lose. I don't know what was more difficult and scary - dying that day or the rehab after.

    • One should never lose hope and give up. Never! I developed brain edema and my family were told to prepare for the worst. Nonetheless, I came back to work only 14 (!) days after the incident and am here now writing this text even without the help of AI.

    • Family is priceless and must be cherished no matter what - my sister sat outside the ER on a metal chair for the entire 78 hours and refused to leave, fighting all the doctors and nurses who came her way trying to ask her out. She was the one who saw me through the swinging doors lying in an empty corridor in the middle of the night, desperately trying to pull the tube out of my throat. She called for help.

  • I am as materialistic as I am spiritual, and as egocentric as I am compassionate.

  • I'm the type of person who will always tell you when you have food in your teeth.

  • Three of my clients got married as a direct result of us working together - just saying, no pressure :)

  • I know very little to nothing about many things, but there are a few things I know exceptionally well: people, personal development, persona architecture, and the psychology of success and winning.

  • Favourites: movie - The Beautiful Mind, album - Kind of Blue, artist - Francis Bacon, actor - Morgan Freeman, hobby - reading, brand - Apple, holiday destination - Italy, hotel group - Belmond, cuisine - French, watch brand - Rolex, wine variety - Chardonnay.

  • If I could have dinner with any ten people I don’t know personally (dead or alive), I would go for: Bruce Lee, Coco Chanel, Catherine the Great, Viktor Frankl, Miles Davis, Oprah Winfrey, Sir Winston Churchill, Jim Rohn, Leonardo Da Vinci, and Richard Branson.
