The Quiet Revolution of Living Longer

We talk about the future like it's far away. Some distant horizon that belongs to our children or grandchildren. But the future is already here. You and I are likely to live decades longer than our grandparents did. And not just exist - but thrive, work, love, and reinvent ourselves multiple times.
The 100-year life isn't science fiction anymore. It's a statistical reality for many born today and a strong possibility for those of us in our prime right now.
But here's what keeps me up at night: we're completely unprepared for it.

Our parents and grandparents lived in a world where life followed a simple, linear path. Study. Work. Retire. Die. The three-stage life made sense when people lived to 70. But what happens when we live to 90, 100, or beyond?
Everything breaks.
Our education systems, career trajectories, retirement plans, relationship models - they were all designed for shorter lives. The rules we've been playing by are becoming obsolete faster than most people realize.
The Math Problem Nobody Wants to Talk About
Let's be honest about something uncomfortable. The financial math of retirement simply doesn't work for a 100-year life.
If you retire at 65 and live to 100, you need 35 years of savings. That's not just difficult - it's nearly impossible for most people. The traditional retirement model is quietly collapsing under the weight of our extended lifespans.
